Physical property: white orthorhombic crystal.
Uses: Mainly used as the etching agent in the production of ground glass (work with hydrofluoric acid), can be used as chemical reagent, antiseptic & sterilization in fermentation industry, solvent for the production of metal beryllium from beryllium oxide. Also used in the manufacture of ceramic, magnesium alloys, cleaning and scale removing of Boiler water system and steam system, acidification processing of sands in oil field. Also used as the component of catalyst for alkylation isomerization.
